Ubuntu Trade

  • A Sense of Adventure 127 4th Street Baraboo, WI, 53913 United States (map)

Ubuntu Trade is a socially conscious brand committed to bringing high quality handcrafted goods and experiences from near and far.  Originally created to give makers and artisans from East Africa a platform in the States to sell their goods, we’re expanding our vision.

Ubuntu Trade believes in community + connection. We are creating a space where community + connection thrive regardless of the miles between us.

This fall we will be opening a real brick + mortar in Madison, WI. Our shop will be part global gifts filled with unique, handcrafted items from global and local small batch makers and artisans. The other side of the shop will be a collaborative community space available for experiences and events.

April Gulley, the founder of Ubuntu Trade has always believed in supporting the local maker whether on her travels around the world or just down the street. Shopping local, finding that one of a kind item that no one else has, has been a lifelong passion. She’s a supporter of the dreamer, the doer, the risk taker, and wants this new space to be a launching pad for all of those who dare to dream and do.

We are thrilled to be a part of A Sense of Adventure's Grand Opening week in Baraboo, Wisconsin July 6-8.
